COVID-19 Awareness

About in-person training

Vaccinations have been a game changer for our training. We strongly encourage everyone who can, to get vaccinated to protect yourself and our dojo community. As of July 2021 an overwhelming number of our adult and teen members are fully vaccinated which has given us the confidence to resume teaching hand techniques again. All students must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to train. Our classes include physical contact with other students and close proximity interactions. Though the dojo is indoors, we are using a collection of fans to keep fresh air moving through the space at all times. We ask that if you are sick, please stay home. If you have been exposed to someone who you know to be sick, or feel under the weather, please wear a mask until you are confident you will not infect others.

Current guidelines for in-person training (Updated September 10, 2024)
